Bolinao (Chasing Sunsets)

Not my first  time in Bolinao but this is the first time to experience Golden sunset with this charming gem of Pangasinan. Summertime wouldn't be complete without having to experience family outings. In our case, we wanted a kid friendly destination. We decided to go to Bolinao, Pangasinan.

Bolinao has been famous for its beach friendly seas and other destination for one adventure pack vacation. We started travelling around 5:00 in the morning with some stop overs for breakfast and stop over by the nearest market to bolinao, to buy some fresh seafoods to cook once we get there. We were supposed to eat at floating restaurant (bohol rivercuise-like) but the queuing can no longer be hold by the kids, so, we have to look for another place to eat. I just forgot the name of the local eatery but they also serve good amount seafoods and other province delicacies. We arrived at MacVanMae Resort around 3:00 in the afternoon and we wasted no time. We go directly to the beach and wait there until sunset, while also preparing our food for dinner in between.

Nothing beats a chill afternoon with the great view of waves, feet on the sand and sunset in the background. When the night came in, most of the people enjoyed swimming in the pool or just having a non-ending videoke time.

Next day, We woke up as early as 6:00am to feel the beach while sun is not on its peak. It was low-tide and we got to see and walk within the shore of sea grass. Not long enough, we checked out before its lunchtime and started to see some attractions like the Bolinao lighthouse. We didn't explore much of the other sites in Bolinao since we have kids with us. But, nonetheless, it was a funfilled weekend once again in Pangasinan.
