It's summer time of 2013 and the best time of the the year to go and swim to the beach. One of the famous destination during summer is Batangas. I for one will testify its simplicity and if you don't want crowded summer getaways this is the right place to be.
Laiya, Batanagas has good and simple things to offer. Its simplicity, quietness, clear sea water, comfortable Inn, lodges, hotel and resorts, and of course the batangas delicacies. It may not give you the things that boracay can do but I'm sure you'll love the place once you get there.
There were amenities in the area that allows cooking but some the of the resorts offers buffet too. I suggest you should try them both. If you are looking for some water sports activity, then don't be sad 'cause it is also available in the vicinity and since it is not as crowded as other summer getaways you'll appreciate banana boat ride and kayak; It feels like you own the place.
How to get there? there are different bus company you could look for with the route of San Juan Batangas. Most of it available in Cubao. Upon getting there jeepneys going to laiya were also available in the city. 4 hours from Manila might be tiring but it is worth the wait as soon as you get there. If you are on a tight budget then, its okay. Vacation to batangas won't be costly, you only need to secure your accommodation and food then enjoy as much as you want. There's nothing around the vicinity to take out something from your pocket because there's no bar along the area and the pasalubong center and market were near the city town proper. So, no need to worry you just have to relax and enjoy the place.
