One Fine day in Manaoag and San Fabian Beach

It wasn't my first time to get to Manaoag but first with my family and relatives. It was always a  dream destination for Catholic church goers and since it is now proclaimed as a Minor Basilica it is the best time to return.
We had to go as early as 4am to be able to attend the morning mass. It is a 6 hours road trip and upon arriving there's a mass on going from time to time. Since we got there on Sunday it is expected to be crowded and it really was!. Right after the mass People used to go at the parking area where religious items or any personal things are blessed by the priest then afterwards the vehicles. On that area is also the candle lightning place where the replicate image of the Our Lady of Manaoag is the center of the Area.

There is also a prayer rosary and stations of the cross garden with great view of man-made river with fish.  For those who love to explore on food items; there are lots of food vendors outside the church. They usually sell Puto Calasiao, Patupat and Tupig.
It's a good travel destination when you're going up north just take a moment of prayer and ask for a road guidance.

After a prayer to Our Lady of Manaoag We go immediately to a nearest beach. which is San Fabian Beach. It is a long stretch of coastline with a soft gray sand or mud-like sand with big waves that welcomes everyone. There are several beach resort in the area and cottage rentals for those who will stay daytime. for a range of 300 - 500 you can avail Kubo cottages near the beach. Unlike from other beaches in Pangasinan, this one do not have water activities. You only have to enjoy the big waves. Though it may not be classified as one of the beautiful beaches in Pangasinan. I still find good to stay there since it is not crowded as any other beach in the area, for a day trip or Family outing it is one good spot.
